A Story of Love and Land
Our life project, where we open the doors of our home to host your most special moments.
— OUR STORY —
Our life project
La Masseria de Mas Vall-Llovera is the culmination of a love story and the union of two different cultures that create their new dimension in Osona.
He, Catalan with the warmth of an Andalusian heritage, feels a deep connection with the land and its fruits.
She, Italian, carries with her the vibrant essence of her native country: the sun-drenched fields of southern Italy, the surprising aroma of tomatoes and basil. Their paths crossed in Edinburgh, and 20 years after living in Milan, Amsterdam and Barcelona and travelling around the world, they decided to buy the Catalan farmhouse Mas Vall-Llovera in the heart of Osona to live with their daughter Andrea, in contact with nature and the mountains.
Today, Mas Vall-Llovera — with its 5 hectares and hundreds of years of history — is a place where people can reconnect with nature, with their soul and their body. It is a life project where we open the doors of our home to host your most special moments, sharing our way of life, our love for nature and the celebration of life.
MASSERIA is the Italian word for Mas
The name acts as a meeting point between Catalan and Italian culture, where the house reflects those who live in it. It evokes a centuries-old farmhouse entering a new stage of life, keeping its roots and authenticity while opening up to a new outlook that renews it without losing its essence.
